It is here!!

My newest swap quilt arrived today in the mail . I am delighted with it. Love the colors and its simplicity. My partner did good. Brenda who had me  also sent me a darling Strawberry needle case which also had a small pair of stork scissors. Will be used for sure.It was made by hand with nice blanket stitching and pretty flower on the outer layer of the strawberry blossom! Then I also received a Quilt Sampler magazine she was featured in it or her shop was Scottie Dog Quilts . Love her shop  at least what I see in the magazine and then a nice postcard of the retreat center where they have their quilt away weekends looks so inviting all of it.

now for some photos of my sweet little quilt from Brenda Lou!! without further ado here it is
Thank you Brenda I love it

A New Outfit

I made this sweet dress for grand daughter Arsema. I have one cut out for the younger sister little Patty aka Sarah. Arsema got a purse to go with her dress but the wee one will get a headband for hers. I hope to get it all sewn tonight or tomorrow afternoon. This was a free tutorial from http://createkidscouture.blogspot.com/ I am happy with how it came out. I think the colors are good for both the girls. I also will be working on my latest doll quilt for this month. This makes one year since the DQS  started and i have not missed any months. woohoo for me.I have a lady from California this month. She lives near or in the redwood area. beautiful there I am sure.
Thanks for stopping in on me today GOD bless each of you.
