Been busy sewing

Been a busy month  and new year so far. I have been trying to finish up on a few  things today was a good day. I got my grand daughters tote /quilt finished up and the book to go to them both. Plus I have the binding sewn on a pear quilt I made the top for last fall, so it will be finished this weekend.
I have been trying to learn to knit, imagine that at my age! (71) not a lot of luck hard to grasp the needle position. but maybe soon it will all click  like learning to use my thimble.
Baby sister made a cute hat and thought I would try one. haha Might get one made before the year is over.  I am hoping to be smart enough to make it.get the knitting down I will for sure post a picture of whatever I make .
now for the things I managed to complete today besides some house work and laundry.

Now below is the quilts opened up the one that is pink  is for Sarah Patricia and the blue one is for my Arsema

These are very cute - love how they fold up and can be carried with the handles. And a good book to go with them, special.
