Well the last couple days I have been doing a little bit of embroidery. Have not done any of that for years!! The pattern came from Winterberry designs. She has a BOM for the stitcheries. This is the first one I have done and will start on number 2 tomorrow. Here is a picture of the number 1 block. Just so you all know I am way behind they are on number 7 soon LOL

Well it has been warm the last couple days and tomorrow is going to be more of the same.

So today was a nice day without rain and we decided to power wash the deck! here is some pictures of the before and the after. Once it is cleaned good and dry we will put a clear sealer on it.. Should be good then for a couple more years. I like it with the wood look myself!

APPROVED

My new DIL has been approved for her long awaited VISA!!! I am so excited. Now the date for her arrival has not been set yet. I just know she is coming and that is great news for me! My son is in Germany for another 2 1/2 weeks then we shall see . I will get busy and get a couple more things made for. Thanks for checking on me today here in cyberland. Yard work today and lots of pulling of weeds, thistles and grass. Here is the area I will be clearing and cleaning up the pond too. I will show the before and after thus far.

New 2009 Ford Escape

We bought this new car yesterday. It is loaded and a lot to learn for me. I had been driving a 2006 Escape. It was a nice spruce green so this is a white suede. I have a sync so I can talk on phone, say play a certain song or etc. so that is new for me. It has heated seats dual air and heating. Power seat for driver and the buttons for key less entry. It is a really nice car and rides very smooth to the other one. We think because they changed the tire size and type.

I am happy with it.

Berry pick'in!!

Check these babies out . I picked them today and made 2 fresh pies and then have the bowl ready to make a couple batches of jam. I love them!!
